Established in 2001, the Silver Mountain Guest Ranch was named after the Silver Mountain of the La Plata Mountains that are seen beautifully from this ranch. Among the 157.62 acres found here, this ranch has much to offer its guests such as a high degree of quality and workmanship through out all of its many improvements including a laundry facility, custom built log gazebo and pavilion, and a custom log entry gate. The main house was built in 2008 and offers 3,546 sq ft of living space on three levels plus a three car heated garage. Four hand-hewn log guest cabins are also included with full furnishings and a specialized theme rendering it distinct from the other cabins. All four of these structures are of a high quality, custom character that is greatly unique for thier uses. Originally an old homestead, the Silver Mountain Guest Ranch is located just northwest of Durango and is a great piece of Colorado for just getting away, relaxing, entertaining, holding a wedding or other function with the privacy, natural surroundings, and style one can enjoy.
